There are now 2 ways to begin a cycle in a new aquarium!  Traditionally we have used fish to produce waste that converts into ammonia to feed the beneficial bacteria.  This can create a lot of damage and stress to these fish.  There is a better way! 

Using Aqua-Pics Cycle-Right, you can now add chemically-clean ammonia directly to the aquarium. By monitoring the ammonia level regularly, keeping it between 0.25ppm and 5.0ppm, you can cycle your tank safely and efficiently without causing harm to any aquatic creatures in the process.  Keep away from children.  Do not use while fish are in the tank.

Add 1 drop per litre or 5ml to 100 litres of aquarium water for an ammonia level between 0.25ppm 7 5ppm.  Test regularly and add as required to maintain a minimum ammonia level of 0.25ppm.  Avoid levels over 5ppm in the aquarium.

Do this for 3 to 6 weeks or until the ammonia & nitrite levels are dropping to 0.0 within a 12 hour period.  At this stage you can stop adding Cycle-Right.  Wait at least another 24 hours before adding fish.

For salt water aquariums. A super concentrated liquid marine beneficial bacteria supplement that will ensure the strong bacteria base, microbes and enzymes required to stabilise the reef aquarium by breaking down waste and converting toxic ammonia and nitrite into nitrate.  Best kept refrigerated.  When cycling a new marine aquarium with artificial base rock, we recommend using Bacta-Boost M in conjunction with our Cycle-Right ammonia supplement and not adding any fish or corals until an established bacteria cycle is achieved.

Add 5ml to 50 litres of aquarium water.  1 litre treats up to 10,000 litres of water.
