KH Buffers

KH or Carbonate Hardness is a measurement of the carbonates and bicarbonates present in your aquarium water. PH is a measurement of how acid or alkaline your aquarium water is. If the KH is too low, the pH in your tank can fluctuate widely, stressing or even killing your fish. KH buffer (also known as KH generator or KH powder) stabilises the pH of your aquarium by correcting the KH level.
