Phosphate free. Low pH in the water in your turtle tank can result in soft shells and burning of their skin. Turtle & Axolotl KH Buffer 7.2 raises carbonate hardness, locking the pH at 7.2 to 7.4, stopping pH fluctuation to create pH stability and stopping acid burn, reducing stress on turtles and axolotls. Add 1 heaped teaspoon to 18 litres of water to raise carbonate hardness by approximately 4dKH (72ppm).
